Something Kinda Crappy.

UPDATE: Issue has been resolved, this is kinda irrelevant now but I figure I should leave it up.

By "kinda crappy," I meant the crappiest of crappy. So I wake up to my girlfriend, Alex, asking about The Hobbit part II and I told her I would go see it with her tonight, just like we planned (a year ago). Shortly followed by my best friend texting me saying "You're going to see the Hobbit with me, not Alex." Now a lot of time, this would be fine, Alex understand that I need time to spend with my best friend. However, I can't won't be doing that this time simply because I am not just going with Alex, and it was planned that I go see these movies with her over a year ago. After I tell him this he gets pissed. I offer for him to come with me, her, and my family, since Alex and I wouldn't be going alone. But, he says he doesn't want to go with the four of us because "the LoTR is our thing" and  "there will never be another thing that just bro's can do." Normally I would think he's just having a bad day or something and let this breeze by, but he is doing making me feel like I'm the worst friend ever and it sucks. I don't really know what to do, but I'm standing by my word. Hope I'm not crazy, but if I was it would be way to late for that to change. Time to go try and figure out if I'm a horrible human being.
