Some Feelsy Thoughts On Time.

As those of you who read this blog know I have semi-recently taken up meditation and would like to share something I discovered during the time I spent meditating a day or two ago.

Whether or not we like it, tragedy happens. For me I would say I had dealt with the tragedy that happened in my life fairly poorly, but I did it because it was what I needed to do, and if I get more comfortable with writing on this blog I will probably share that with you guys eventually. Anyways, after whatever happened, happens time carries on without us. We tend to slow down, mourn, take time to reconcile what we have done, what we could have done better, if we could have prevented it, etc. All that is completely necessary, but the problem is it takes time we don't have. So, time, being the cool guy/girl, it is, tries to stop for us. Unfortunately, it can't, that would cause problems I would rather not know about, but what it does do for us, is slow down a little. Nothing noticeable until you take time to look back, but it does give us a little time to sit back, enjoy what we still have, do what we can to help out those who are going through the same stuff, and most importantly, put the pieces of our own little humpty-dumpty project back together.

Time carries on, whether we are watching it or not. But if we really need it too, it slows down just enough for us to catch up. Later guys.
